This sample of the Softside Islander 9151 Oyster White marine upholstery fabric offers a chance to assess the quality and aesthetic of a premium marine vinyl designed for boat, automotive, and commercial upholstery. The fabric features a 100% PVC face with a hi-loft polyester backing, making it abrasion resistant and suitable for high-exposure environments. It is UV resistant, mold and mildew resistant, water resistant, and fire retardant, meeting standards such as FMVSS 302, NFPA 260, CA TB117, and IMO Part 8. Easy to clean and bleach cleanable, it is bacterial and stain resistant. This heavyweight vinyl fabric, weighing about 29 oz per linear yard and measuring 54 inches wide, is formaldehyde free and lead/heavy metal free, ensuring safety and durability in outdoor use. It comes in multiple colors, making it versatile for various projects.
