Textilene® is a PVC coated polyester yarn woven into a variety of patterns and constructions. Textilene® is a particularly unique PVC product as its components do not contain the typical harmful ingredients normally associated with PVC. Each raw material is chosen for its sustainability and impact on the environment. One exclusive feature is a softening agent (plasticizer). The plasticizer is comprised of both post-consumer and post-industrial materials and is non-phthalate. This is currently the only plasticizer of its kind offered in the market place. Phthalate based plasticizers have recently been banned in the United States and Europe for use in children's toys and articles. Textilene® products are rated low VOC. Textilene® is GreenGuard® certified.
